On Friday, September 16, the whole school was lucky enough to enjoy a special mini-cultural fair day showcasing different aspects of the Chinese culture.

This one day programme, organised through the Confucius Institute, is free to schools and was a huge success. It not only promoted multicultural awareness, through increasing the understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture, but potentially also stimulated an interest in Chinese language study. 

The Cultural group helped to organise and host this event and it included plate painting, four different Chinese games, Taiji Fan and dumpling making. 

We would like to thank all the wonderful Chinese tutors who were simply outstanding, patiently helping even our youngest students to have a go at the various activities, and also Jia Wang and Kiera Xu for helping us on the day.
