We are offering the opportunity for interested students to take part in ICAS exams again this year. ICAS exams are organised by the University of New South Wales and while offered to NZ schools it is important to note that they are based on the Australian Curriculum.

The ICAS examination structure has changed quite considerably this year, along with changes to pricing for all exams. ICAS will be online this year, with only ICAS Writing for Years 4 and 5 on paper.

ICAS exams will be sat much later in the year than previous years, with all ICAS exams running in the final few weeks of Term 3 (September 2019).

ICAS have increased their prices for all exams. There will be a standard fee of $ 15 for all ICAS exams.

To enrol your child in ICAS for 2019 please follow this link for our registration form- registration is not complete until payment is made.

Registering for ICAS through West Melton School needs to be completed by Friday 31st May.

Any registrations (including payments) received by the school after this date will not be accepted. Payments can be made through the WMS Shop or via Internet Banking (please put ICAS as reference).

Please ensure that your child is independently technically capable to sit the exam. You can check by trying some of the test questions on the ICAS website.  Practice Test Link
