What an amazing day .........

What an amazing day we had last term CONNECTING with our whānau and extended family. It was exciting to see so many grandparents joining us and celebrating learning. We received many positive and grateful messages from our wider community. I know our children loved the opportunity to showcase their learning. Definitely an annual event - building community!

‘We would just like to say thank you very much for inviting us to the Grandparents Day at your school today. We had a wonderful time. And what a great group of children you have there!! With high achievers in sport, arts and music, you can be very proud of them all, as we are. We both particularly enjoyed the band playing the “oldies” songs to such a high standard at morning tea time.

We are still getting our heads around the new classroom set ups (so different to our day) but it certainly seems to be working! And to have such a dedicated group of teachers is very pleasing to see.
