Jump Jam 4 StarJam on Friday 17 August

Sonja Beaumont —

We will be participating in Jump Jam 4 StarJam on Friday 17 August to support young New Zealander’s with disabilities. Gold coin donation.

This involves students participating in a Jump Jam session and bringing along a gold coin donation in support of StarJam; a national charity that provides performance opportunities for young people with disabilities.

In exchange, your child will receive a wrist-band which says, Jump Jam 4 StarJam. So, if you would like to support StarJam, please give your child a gold coin donation to bring along on the day!

Thank you so much for your support.

If you are interested in learning more about StarJam please read below:

StarJam is a not-for-profit organisation that creates empowering performance opportunities for young people with disabilities (known as ‘Jammers’). We provide weekly workshops in drumming, singing, dancing and guitar, as well as opportunities for our Jammers to perform gigs at public and private events, and we run regular community discos. Our unique programmes, all free-of-charge to our families, provide our Jammers with opportunities to learn and develop skill sets, gain confidence, experience respect and build friendships; things that, because of their disability, they may not have had the opportunity to do before.
