The Zero Waste Approach

Simon McDermott —

The Board of Trustees is pleased to be able to bring to you The Rubbish Trip - The Zero Waste Approach.

Our school prides itself on being as conscientious as we can with waste, and taking a proactive approach to minimisation.  We are very fortunate to have secured two no-waste nomads to talk to us about rubbish!  See their website https://therubbishtrip.co.nz/ for their story.

The Rubbish Trip is a zero waste roadshow  is a  FREE presentations about how and why individuals can reduce their waste footprint.   The two No-waste Nomads behind The Rubbish Trip are – Hannah Blumhardt and Liam Prince.

During the day they will be spending some time in the school talking to the children and preparing for the night presentation.

The presentation at 6.30pm is open to everyone - there is no charge, although you are welcome to bring along any koha to share amongst the group - Hannah and Liam will be providing some nibbles they create for trying.

The presentation is really interesting, Hannah and Liam are great presenters and provide real down to earth advice on their zero-waste journey and how we can all be part of this!

We look forward to seeing as many of our community as possible at the presentation - it is open to the entire community, so feel free to bring friends and family!

See you there.
