Come and check out the extra large coreboard we have outside of Te Pa Harakeke. This is an awesome tool for anyone to use to communicate with learners who are developing their communication.

Alongside the use of a coreboard, Te Pa Harakeke now have five learners who use a device to support their communication. These devices have much greater versatility to a coreboard, with learners having the ability to say many many things. 

We encourage everyone and anyone within the school to have a go with using the coreboard and / or start a conversation with a learner who uses a device. You'll be surprised by the amount of different things you can communicate through these systems. Give it a go! Te Pa Harakeke team are more than happy to answer any questions.
