Every person (Facebook vote) counts...

I am constantly humbled by this amazing group of parents! 

Recently a large amount of smashed glass was found on a Sunday morning in the school playground and within minutes of being notified on the page there was a team of volunteers at school cleaning it up. 

This past Sunday I posted a call for SuperWine biscuits for Wednesday Hot Chocolate (starting June 19) and within days we have had massive amounts of biscuits donated and the promise of 96 packets through Griffins thanks to Ivan Bergh.

Last week, a competition post was shared with the group through UpStart Magazine and we won 200 Zstringz and a box of magazines for the school. I'm not really sure what Zstringz are, but I'm sure that the 5-13 year old crowd will enjoy them (a math resource perhaps?), and I know that the magazines will be appreciated.

For the past month, we have also been encouraging members of the group, and their families/friends, to vote for West Rolleston Primary School in a Facebook competition to win a $4000 tumbling package through Beams and Bars. With  250+ votes, I am happy to say that last night WRPS was officially announced as the competition winner. This includes a tumbling mat that is 2m x 5m in size. This gym package will be an amazing addition to the schools physical education equipment and I can't wait to see pictures of the kids enjoying it. My sincere thanks to each and every one of you who voted!
