Our West Rolleston Korfball team played an outstanding 9 games over 3 days at the Lincoln University, finishing in bronze medal position.

Over the three days, the team won 6 out of 7 pool matches with the final pool match coming down to the wire to beat Tai Tapu and take out second place in the pool. After a very intense semi final, the team were beaten by the narrowest margin by the eventual gold medal winning Rangiora Borough School.  The West Rolleston team went on to blitz the opposition in the playoff for the 3rd place medals.

It was amazing to see the progress the team made over the three days. The defence was exceptional, holding most teams to just 1 or 2 goals. We couldn't be more proud of how the team conducted themselves over the three days. 

A special congratulations to Mia who was named in the tournament team.
