What is your favourite snack? Ginger nuts dunked in tea. Salt and vinegar chips and dip while watching rugby.

What do you do to help your hauora or well-being when you’re not at school? Spend time with family.

Who is in your whānau?

My wife Tania Teaches at Knights Stream school. I have 4 children Emma who's at Riccarton high school, Sammy who's at Rolleston College and Liam and Tamara who go to West Rolleston school.

What do you like to do during the holidays?

I like camping and reading

What is the best thing about your job?

You get to do lots of different things, such as coaching sport teams.

Tell us something interesting about yourself?

I am the only left handed person with no middle name that I know. Before I was a teacher I was a freezing worker.
