Its been a challenging week for us all.

The Board would like to acknowledge our staff and everyone in our community for the response to the past week.  As a parent I was so impressed with the calm and professional manner our staff looked after our children on Friday.  We should all reflect on this time - our staff are also parents, caregivers, friends and have family - but for several hours they looked after our children making sure they were safe, entertained and secure.  

The response from the MoE and the NZ Government has been admirable.  We have access to support for our school - and we encourage anyone that needs support to reach out.  As a school and a community we have resources to help - please avail yourself of support.  Look out for your children, your children's friends, their families and anyone in our extended community.

Its a busy school - school camp is on, sports, arts and cultural events are keeping everyone occupied.  Sylvia and the team are making some changes as a result of the events on Friday - once again we are humbled by our community response and thank you  for your positive support.
