Its hard to believe, but we are at the end of another term. How fast was that - and how much has been happening, its quite amazing.

The term has been particularly busy with heaps of extra curricular activity - how fantastic was it to see our children involved in Pacifica, basketball, Kids for Kids, Kapahaka, Pizza lunch and pizza with Ms Fidow, the WRPS Got Talent and lots of other and interesting activities.  It is such a busy school!

It was very pleasing to see the term start with the new and improved road safety parking and changes around the school.  It seems to be working a lot better now, improving the safety for all our community.  Once again, thanks to Rob Hunt from the Board for seeing this initiative through.

The work that GROW have done this term to assist with fundraising is really great.  The Milo, Ladies Night and then the CHEESE ROLLS has seen a constant activity level around fundraising for the school.  We really appreciate this and as a community we are lucky to see this happening for our children.  You will see that GROW are focusing all their fundraising-might next term on another netball/basketball/tennis asphalt court area.  The courts will cost a lot of money (in excess of $100,000+) - and they are targeting to get them installed at the Xmas break.  So - lets all get behind this goal in any way we can (thanks GROW).

Again this term the BoT have been working hard to make sure that we fund extra teaching resources and support across the school - we see this as fundamental to the success of our children and the school.  Its hard work at times juggling the many needs across our school - but with a dedicated staff and supportive community we are really making a difference.  The ERO report last term reinforced we are heading in the right direction, but we are always looking at how we can assist the school in performing better.

Finally, thanks to our dedicated staff - you make a huge difference to our children, school and our community.  The extra time and effort taken is appreciated and we are fortunate to have such a great bunch across the entire school.  Be safe over the holidays, and rest up - because next term is going to be as hectic as this one!
