Reader's Theatre is dramatic presentation of a written work in script form.

Some of the children in Te Ara Tupu were involved in presenting plays. The learners were given a play in their reading groups and they then had to choose their characters, create some masks and set the scene. Reader's Theatre helps to encourage fluency, expression and creativity. Some thought they could even write their own plays for next time!
