Just a reminder that it is compulsory for all learners,Year 1-8 to wear a Hi Vis vest or have a fluoro bag cover when travelling to and from school.

Last year the BoT discussed the safe travel road survey we sent out to families in 2020 which had approximately 77 respondents. Based on 100% support for a fluoro addition to the uniform we agreed this will be a compulsory uniform this year. This will be for all learners in Years 1-8 travelling to and from school, be it biking, scooting, walking or by car. This could be a safety vest or a fluoro bag cover. Road safety specialists recommend bright yellow as the best colour for ensuring our learners are really visible to drivers. We will need parental and whanau support for this particularly with our senior learners so thank you for your support.
