Message from the Principal
It has been a week of highs and lows with the opening of our brand new courts putting smiles on everyone's faces through to the shock of arriving at school this morning to the news Andy's garage has been wiped out by thieves.
Let's start with the good news..THANK YOU..to our Board of Trustees and GROW for funding these much needed hard court spaces. They are already being well utilised:) We look forward to our learners developing their skills in tennis, netball, basketball and other games.
In terms of the robbery we are devastated that these thieves have taken equipment Andy uses regularly to make our school such a beautiful and inviting space. Thanks for all of the offers of assistance, we are working with the Police and our Ministry of Education Insurers on the claim.
Today our Year 5-8 learners participated in the senior swimming sports. Thanks to Mr Pete Northmore for your organisation and all of the staff and parents/whānau for your support. It is great to be able to provide competitive and non competitive events for our children. Thanks to the small number of parents and whanau who have contributed for the bus costs for this event...please continue to do so and thanks!
Ngā mihi nui
Sylvia
