This year the University of Canterbury will once again be holding The Great Kiwi Spelling Bee competition for primary and intermediate schools.

The Kiwi Spelling Bee competition is written by New Zealand teachers for New Zealand students and is based on the New Zealand curriculum. The online competitions will be run in Term 3, from Monday 5th August to Friday 23rd August, 2019 at a time suitable to the school. All participating students will be awarded a certificate and prizes will be awarded to top students in each year group. The cost for a student to participate is $9.00. 

Notices will be going home with Year 5-8 learners today. Please return the permission slip  to school by Wednesday 3rd July. If you have any questions please contact Mrs Murray.
