There are a few housekeeping issues we would like you to be aware of for our new families at West Rolleston Primary School.

1. Community updates are sent out regularly through our student management system Linc-Ed, these often have important notices and we need to make sure you are receiving them. You should receive an email every Thursday around 3ish saying check out this week’s newsletter. If you do not receive this email, please first check your spam folder and then notify us so we can sort any issues there may be.

2. Do you have a safety vest for your child? these are free from the office, local businesses have sponsored these to keep our children safe walking and biking to and from school. Please name these. If you lose it there is a $15 charge for another one. (we have run out at present and are just waiting for the supplier so we will let you know when we have them back in stock)

3. The school bank account for paying school accounts is 12-3153-0021818-00. Please note that we are a cash free office so all payments need to be made via internet banking. If you have any queries in regards to your school account please see Trish and please do not reply to emailed financial statements as the email will not be received.

4. Did you want to bank with ASB? if so money can be deposited at the school office anytime during the week, these deposits are taken to the bank every Thursday.

5. If your child is sick the best way to notify the school is to ring 03 595 0952 and leave a message on the answering machine, or email the office at office@westrolleston.school.nz

6. If your child is late to school or away for any reason during the day please come to the office and let us know, or send him or her to the office before they go to the learning studio. This is important for Health and Safety Reasons.

7. If your child requires any medication while at school or has a serious medical issue please come and see the office as we require you to complete a medical authority form.

8. If you have arranged to parent help in the learning studios, please ensure you sign in and out at the office for our safety procedures.

9. If you would like to find out more about our PTA called GROW, please feel free to come along to a committee meeting held once a month or keep up date with what is going on on the GROW West Rolleston facebook page. It's a great way to meet members of our school community.
