Dr Gadd is an independent literacy facilitator, teacher and researcher, and works across New Zealand and around the world with school leaders, teachers and research colleagues on a wide range of literacy-related topics.

Dr Gadd will be covering the following topics:

• The importance of writing/being a good writer for our children.
• What our children need to be able to do as writers.
• What we do at school to help students become good writers.
• What parents can do at home to support the school-based work.
