Last week we had 13 superb athletes represent West Rolleston School at the Canterbury Athletics Championships.

Congratulations to Alyssa Clarkson, Andrea Villagomez Reyes, Ava Te Karu, Blake Martin, Brinley Taylor, Conner Woodcock, Jess Potter, Marcus Britt, Nico Parkin, Samantha Walton, Sophie Forward, Sunny Shuurmans, Vinny Stevens and Zoe Hooper on your achievement.
We had some exceptional placings:

• Zoe Hooper placed 1st in the Year 5 girls 80m sprint.
• Our Year 5 girls relay team (Ava te Karu, Sophie Forward, Jess Potter and Zoe Hooper) placed 3rd.

It was incredible to see the talent our learners had on display at the regional event. Each and every athlete represented our school with pride. Thank you to you all!
