Information about our upcoming Matariki and Hangi celebration next WEDNESDAY 12th JUNE

Kia ora whānau,

Please have a read of the attached panui for our Matariki and Hangi evening on Wednesday 12th June, starting at 4.30pm.

Our school Kapahaka will be performing, there will be learning on display about Matariki and we are so incredibly lucky to have the option of enjoying a hangi!

Timeline of the evening:

4.30pm Families start to arrive - Learning on display in studios

5.00pm Our school kapa haka group will perform in the gym

5.30pm Hangi will be served to families who have ordered or time to eat your own kai

All families are welcome. All ordering will be done through Kindo, please use the following link: http://bit.ly/KindoWestRolleston Please make sure you have submitted your order by THIS FRIDAY if you and your family would like to partake in the hangi. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own kai if you would prefer. As a school that values the environment we kindly ask that you bring along your own cutlery to save waste.

We are very excited to be able to provide this social whānau opportunity for our community as we celebrate the Māori New Year.
