It has been an amazing week for our foundation school with our inaugural participation in the Cultural Festival. Thank you so much for the positive comments we have received about how fabulous our learners were.

On Friday 31st of August Ms Fidow and the Ambassadors held a Daffodil Day. It was a fundraiser for all the people that have cancer, and for the Cancer Society to conduct research. We raised $251.

On Wednesday 5th of September, Ms Fidow & the Ambassadors met two members of the Selwyn Cancer Society, Jackie & Amanda.

The Kahui Ako (Rolleston Community of Learning) are pleased to bring Lucy Hone to Rolleston on the 18th October at Rolleston College. Tickets are limited and available at the school office. This is a free event funded by the Kahui Ako.

Thanks so much for your support with the Domino’s Pizza Fundraiser. The children absolutely loved it. We raised a total of $725 and this is going to go towards purchasing some jungle gyms as above.

Our kapa haka and pasifika groups made their debut performance at the Cultural festival on Monday evening.

This term, we have two policies due for review. Parents are invited to read these and provide feedback.

On Monday night our Wearable Arts group showcased their amazing creations at the Cultural Festival.

Our school Waiata group will be attending this years Kids for Kids performance at Horncastle Arena on the evening of Wednesday the 12th of September.

We have had a lot of illness over the past few weeks. If your child is unwell, please can you keep them at home. If your child has episodes of vomiting and diarrhoea our school and Ministry of Health policy is to keep your child at home until well and not to return to school until 48 hours after last episode - Thank you
