Welcome to Term 2 and a special welcome to our new families and staff members Mrs Louise Thomson and Mrs Joanne Norman-Larter. We also have a new student teacher in Te Ara Tupu - Mrs Emma Bennett.

Please remember to download the West Rolleston Primary School APP. It is a great way for us to communicate with our families. We have updated our groups so please have a look to see which groups you would like to receive alerts for.

The teachers will be attending a NZEI paid union meeting next Wednesday at Rolleston School to vote on the latest offer from the Ministry of Education. Please can you collect your child from school at 12.30pm.

The office provides learners with spare uniform if they have an accident or get wet outside and need some spare clothes. Unfortunately most of the items handed out this term have not been returned and we are in desperate need of them to please be bought back cleaned and washed. If you have any at home that are labelled school please return. Many Thanks

We have a lonely scooter in the office - if it belongs to you can you please come and collect.

The Board of Trustees primary purpose is to ensure that every learner at our school is able to attain their highest possible standard of education achievement.

Our school disco is on Friday 24th May - Junior 3.15pm - 4.45pm $5.00 entry and includes a goody bag and Seniors 5.15pm to 6.45pm Gold coin entry (see more details below). Any baking donations will be warmly received and can be dropped off to the gym kitchen on Friday morning. All funds raised are going towards the junior playground equipment.
