I am delighted to be the Foundation Principal for West Rolleston Primary School Te Kura O Te Uru Kōwhai. I feel very strongly about the importance of school community and work alongside the staff, BoT and families/whānau to create a school where children feel safe and enjoy many opportunities for learning and success.

I have taught in Christchurch, Levin and London. Prior to this position I was the principal of Shirley Primary School for eight and a half years. I have a Diploma in Teaching, a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Education with Distinction endorsed in Leadership.

Favourite Book: I try to read everything my kids read so lots of dystopian novels at the moment

Favourite Food: Green onion chips, chop suey, salmon risotto, chicken burgers

When I'm not at West Rolleston Primary I am watching my son play football, catching up with my daughter who lives and works in town, walking with my husband Tony, or indulging in a bit of shoe shopping. I try to keep fit and healthy and am an avid F45 fan.
