Uniform

Students are expected and encouraged to take pride in their general appearance.

Our Y1-6 school polo tops and jackets can be purchased online at www.mainlanduniforms.co.nz a sample is available at the school office. In Y7/8 there is a compulsory senior polo t-shirt with a harakeke design which can also be purchased from mainland uniform. The shorts, cullottes or black tracksuit options can be purchased from any provider as long as they are plain black. 

Children must wear plain black shoes, and plain black socks or tights. Thermals must also be plain black. 

All jewellery must be safe, non offensive and culturally sensitive.

All children are required to wear our uniform however the sports top is required for Y5-8 students only. During the winter months a black jacket and black hat may be worn outside during the school day. In the summer a black broad brimmed hat must be worn outside. Caps are not permitted.

A compulsory hi-vis vest or bag cover must be worn to and from school even if travelling by car. This is part of our safe travel management plan.
