Last week team 2, Year 3 & 4 performed The Bee Musical

• When I first heard about 'The Bee Musical' I was quite excited. I have been in performances before at my Chinese church, but it wasn't quite like a proper play in front of an official audience! I must say, it was WAY better than I thought. When I first read the script, I thought it was a little bit short but the acting made up for it. I think 'The Bee Musical' was a great success! • I want to thank the teachers, parent volunteers and the audience for coming and helping us make this performance possible. First, thanks teachers for helping with the lighting, directing, music and makeup. You guys have been so good. We appreciate your help! Thanks to the parents - you have been a huge help with painting and makeup. I don't know how you did it. Lastly, thanks to the audience. Every single one of you have been so good, smiling and laughing at the jokes and clapping for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better audience! (Levi, Year 4)

A moment in time

I felt the cold air and breezy wind floating around me backstage.

I felt my heart pounding with excitement.

I wondered if I would be able to say my line?

I saw a sea of faces chatting to each other.

I saw a river of eyes staring at me as I said my line.

I saw my friends stroll to the front to say their lines.

I heard the choir singing sweetly.
