Mrs O'Donoghue brought her dog Padraig (pronounced Porrick) to school yesterday.

Team one have been having weekly language experiences as part of the junior school oral and written language programme. When Padraig visited the classrooms the children asked lots of questions and had the opportunity to pat him and describe how he felt.  Later they wrote about their experience. For some it was the first time they had ever patted a dog. Padraig was very tired at the end of his school day and went home for a long sleep.
