I attended this talk and found it really interesting. It presented the opportunities and challenges that technology provides our children.
Some of the opportunities were: keeping socially connected, learning languages and general knowledge, problem solving through interactive games.
Some of the challenges discussed were: the authenticity of information and the need for critical thinking skills to process it, managing how and what children are accessing, adults being open to keep up with technology and issues with privacy.
Not all screen time is the same and the opportunities and challenges that are faced vary. Well worth a watch!!
