If you do not live in our school zone, you can apply to be considered in the ballots which occur 4 times per year.

Enrolment zones are established to prevent over-crowding at schools. If you live outside of our school’s enrolment zone, it is only possible to secure a place at Westburn if the board determines that there is a vacancy in any specific year level.

The boundaries of the Westburn School zone are :

• Memorial Avenue between Ilam Road and Roydvale Avenue

• Avonhead Road between Roydvale Avenue and Maidstone Road
  

• Maidstone Road between Avonhead Road and Ilam Road

If you do not live within the above zone you can apply for a place through the termly ballot system as stipulated in Section 11 of the Education Act 1989.

To apply through the ballot, you must fill out the form below and return it to the school before the ballot closing date, as stipulated on the form. We will write to you within three days of the ballot date to let you know whether we can offer you a place at school for the following term.
