We were thrilled to hear the news that two former students, Zach & Flynn (Year 8 in 2024) had success when competing at Oceans 25 on the weekend. Oceans is the Surf Life Saving NZ National Championship for kids under 15 years of age.

Both boys had an incredible time competing and won the Under 14 Tube Rescue title (one of the most important races in surf lifesaving, as it’s such an effective way to save lives at the beach). This is a huge achievement!

Zach also had an outstanding competition overall, placing second in the Under 14 Run-Swim-Run and third in the Under 14 Surf Race.
