Last weekend Solomon travelled with the Canterbury athletics team to Palmerston North to compete in the nationals. He travelled to Wellington in a plane and then he went to Palmerston North by bus.

He competed in long jump, 200m sprint, 400m sprint, 800m sprint and relay. He came 6th place in 400m sprint, 4th place in 800m and 3rd place in relay.

At the end of the athletics, they found out what places their team got.

Waikato came 3rd, Auckland came 2nd, and Canterbury came 1st.
