Making a Splash at Swimming Sports Zones

Campbell Harding —

All of the senior school swimmers who made it into the swimming sports zones tried hard to do their best in their races. Isla reports.

Though we were all nervous, we gave it a shot competing with other schools.

On Friday the twenty-first of March, all the senior swimmers who had made it into the next level for swimming went to Selwyn pool to compete and represent our school at the North-West Zones.

Lots of people said that they were excited but at the same time really freaking out because they wanted to do well in their events. Everybody did super well though, swimming their given strokes, even though they were nervous.

We all learned how to represent our school with pride. Everyone was cheering people on when it came to their race, and at the end supporters were there to congratulate you for pushing yourself to the absolute limit. People said that they wanted our school to win, but if there was another school trying hard, we would cheer them on as well.
