Congratulations to Celine Pang and Maggie Peng and their successes at their respective high schools.

Celine Pang was awarded Dux at Burnside High School. Celine attended our kura from years 1 to 8. In 2019 she was awarded the Pritchard Badger Cup for SMP. At Burnside, Celine was awarded the Peter Bryant Memorial Award, the AIMS Scholarship for Maths99 and a Woman in Engineering Scholarship. Celine will study Engineering at the University of Canterbury.

Maggie Peng was awarded Proxime Accessit at Papanui High School. Maggie arrived from China in year 4 and continued to study at Westburn until year 8. She was awarded the Neil Liberty Cup for Visual Art in 2019. Maggie was awarded numerous scholarships from both Papanui High School as well as several universities. She will study architecture and design at the University of Auckland.
