Successful students

Last term, two students from each level at Years 4, 5 and 6 and three students from each of Years 7 and 8 represented Westburn Te Kura o Hereora at the semi finals of the Rotary Speech Competition.

One of our Year 4 students, Shathvik (R 14) and one of our Year 5 students, Molly (R 8) made it to the finals which were held last night.

Both students did an amazing job and represented our kura with pride.

At the end of the evening, Molly won second place and Shathvik received a Highly Commended award.

Congratulations to both of these fabulous ākonga.
