At the beginning of this year we welcomed Landen Monks onto our team as a Teacher Aide. He moved to Christchurch to become part of the Crusaders Academy.

Landen recently played as a full back and winger for the Under 19 Canterbury team and won the South Island Competition. They played against Otago in the final and had a huge win with the final score being 40-19.

Landen has been supporting Westburn Students in many ways including with Winter Sports, playing games with students on breaks and helping with learning needs.

We are thrilled for his recent success and know his future is looking bright! Well done Landen!
