The Year 3 and 4 students enjoyed their first visit to the Christchurch School of Gymnastics at the brand new purpose built gymnasium within the grounds of QEII Park.

Students worked in small groups with experienced coaches who taught them fundamental skills and safe aspects of gymnastics. The session included a warm up and stretch, followed by various apparatus circuits which provided plenty of fun and challenge. The sponge pit was a huge hit with most students!
