Westburn School is lucky to be part of a pilot programme sponsored by the Ministry of Education to place Bilingual Support Workers at our school.

We are lucky to have Michelle Lin and Tina Han join our staff this year as Bilingual Support Workers.  They provide valuable support to our Mandarin-speaking children and their families as well as our wider community.   You can find them working all around the school and even helping out at swimming.  Michelle and Tina both have children here at school and are extremely knowledgeable about life and the school system  in New Zealand.    Our families really appreciate that instant connection with our school.
