Bad Jelly the Witch

Campbell Harding —

Team 2 went to watch Bad Jelly the Witch at Burnside High School. Here are their thoughts.

On the first Tuesday of term, Team 2 students walked from Westburn to Burnside High School to watch their production of Bad Jelly the Witch. We all really enjoyed watching the play with all its silly bits and audience participation.

Julianna wrote: “Today we went to Burnside to watch a play called Bad Jelly the Witch. It was in a place called the Aroha Centre. My favourite part was when the clown’s pants fell down and someone took them and we could see the clown’s fake bottom. Tim and Rose getting captured was my least favourite part.”

Leon said “The funniest part of the show was when the cow moo-ed. My least favourite part was when it was the end! It was cool when the pants fell down.”

Yule said “the funniest part was when the cow came out, but my favourite part was when the eagle danced.”

Many thanks to all the parent volunteers who signed up at the last minute to help us get there! We really appreciate you.
