Mila entered both instrument and vocal competitions run by Christchurch Competition Society during the school holidays, below are the results she gained:

1. Second place silver medal for Viola and Cello solo under 10 years old

2. Second place silver medal for New Zealand composer under 12 years old

3. First place gold medal for Jazz music 9 years and under

4. The most promising under 10 years old girl cup

5. First place for Folk song (vocal) under 10 years

6. Second place for Novice class under 10 years

7. Second place for songs in costume under 10 years
