Excellence in Music - Lixin Zhang - 2009-2013

Lixin is currently in the Specialist Music Programme at Burnside High School playing both piano and violin. He began piano lessons at the age of four. Lixin was awarded the Irene Lassen Exhibition from the Royal Schools of Music and passed his LRSM diploma with high distinction. He won the Wallace National Junior Piano Competition in 2016 and has won the Ruby Hay Pianoforte Scholarship.
