WSCA Westburn School Community Association

Christina Arapai —

The Westburn Community has a proud history of supporting our school in many ways. The Westburn School Community Association (formally the Parent Teacher Association or PTA) is the organisation that helps drive community support for the school on behalf of the parents, caregivers and students.

We have a fantastic network of family and friends of the school, who along with the staff work hard in ensuring Westburn continues to be highly successful. The strength of WSCA will help ensure that this continues - through effective fundraising, support of specific school initiatives and on-going community engagement.

The following sums up the key points of our association;

Along with the strong support always given to school fundraising activities, there are many ways parents and caregivers can help the school through WSCA. It could be as a member of the Planning Group; being a WSCA Class Rep for your child’s class; or volunteering to help out in any activity WSCA is undertaking for the school.

This WSCA page on the school website is still under construction, so keep an eye out for further developments, community activities and information. Feedback from the community is always welcome so feel free to email wsca@westburn.school.nz if you have any questions/suggestions, want to know how you can get more involved with WSCA - or if you just want to know more about the organisation.
