Pippins!  - Do you live in the avonhead/russley area and have a 5-7 year old girl who likes to do crafts and make friends ? Well then come along and join us at St Marks Church, Withells Rd on Wednesday evenings from 4:45 – 5:45pm during term time. Hi my name is Kate and I help run the avonhead unit for Pippins which is the youngest girls for Girl Guiding NZ. If you think your daughter or anyone you know within this age range would like to come join us please contact me on 0275065516 or email me on katematilda1123@gmail.com so we can arrange a visit. At pippins we do a whole range of different activities from arts and crafts all the way to cooking and doing community service work and going on camps. 

RICCARTON SOFTBALL REGISTRATION DAY Date: 16th of August 2021, 4.30PM – 6PM
Place: Riccarton Clubrooms – Apsley Drive, Crosbie Park, Russley/Avonhead. Taking registration for this upcoming season starting in October. Boys and Girls teams ranging in ages from 4 years to 19 years. We also have senior mixed and men and women grades. Interested in tennis? Then come and check out Burnside Park Tennis Club during the Love Tennis national open weekend on 18 & 19 September, from 1pm-4pm each day. Love Tennis is all about showcasing our tennis club to the local community and demonstrating how tennis is the perfect game for people of all ages and abilities! The free event is for everyone, young or old, whether they’re a current or returning player or have never picked up a racquet before. There will be fun activities, sausage sizzle, opportunity to enter a draw for major prizes and much more.
