In Years 5-8, we operate a voluntary ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) option. Having access to 1:1 digital devices supports greater flexibility in learning pathways and empowers students to learn in a more personalised way.
To ensure your child gets the most out of their device, we have identified the minimum requirements and noted that some features are ‘recommended’ rather than ‘required’. We are recommending what a device should be able to do, rather than specific device types. Any tablets or iPads are not suitable for written work at Westburn School.
