Over the past fortnight, students have been busy exploring digital creativity, coding, and problem-solving through a series of hands-on activities.

One of the highlights for Year 6 has been learning how to edit photos on the iPad. Students experimented with different tools to enhance images, allowing them to express their creativity while developing digital skills.

They also explored how QR codes can be used to showcase their work. They created and tested their own QR codes, gaining an understanding of how technology can make sharing information quick and accessible.

Another exciting project involved Year 5 students designing and programming a BeeBot snow plough. Students were provided with a variety of materials to transform their BeeBot into a robot capable of pushing 'snow'. Using their coding and problem-solving skills, students programmed the BeeBots to complete various challenges. It was great to see students collaborating as they tested their designs and adjusted their code to solve problems.

These lessons are equipping students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills that support their learning across all subjects.
