  • Culture Galore - Sat 8 March - Culture Galore is the Council’s annual event that celebrates the ethnic diversity of the city. This year over 30 ethnic groups will be offering cultural performances and demonstration at the free event at Ray Blank Park on Maidstone Rd, showcasing the music, dance, heaps of ethnic food, arts and crafts of cultures from around the world.   • Deliverers wanted - The Christchurch Star are looking for deliverers in the area. See the attached flyer for more info. Suitable for children over 11 years.

  • Kung Fu School - The Kung Fu School has been running in Christchurch for over five years. This term, they are focused on growing their children’s class for students aged 7-11 years and invite Westburn students to attend a free trial class. They also offer classes for teens and adults aged 12+ if any siblings would like to take up the offer as well. See the attached flyer for more info.

  • Canvas Bag Drama - Canvas Bag Drama School's after school drama classes for ages 5-18 are back for 2025 under new leadership with Harry Lawrence taking the helm after Felicity moving to be the organisations patron.
