The Year 7 and 8's had the opportunity to play in a Hockey festival in Greymouth recently.

It was a really good experience and opportunity for year the 7 and 8 students to play hockey. There were some players on our team who were holding hockey sticks for the first time. But went out and played with great heart and energy, learning a few tricks along the way. It was great fun for everyone!

There were more than 136 players from different schools within the festival from the whole coast.

One of our Westland high school teams came 3rd in their division a great achievement. Well done to everyone who took part.
