A group of Year 10 students potentially interested in careers in Health, visited the Grey Base hospital last term.

A select group of keen year 10 students toured the Grey Base Hospital last term, learning about the many, varied job opportunities open to students who pursue health as a career. The students started out with the ED nurse in the emergency department, then moved on to talk to the radiologist, the medical laboratory scientist, theatre nurse and anesthetist, the paediatric nurse plus many more! It was a fantastic trip that really highlighted the range of qualifications a student requires to enter one of the many careers in our local hospital.
