Last Wednesday our school Badminton team competed in the West Coast Secondary School (WCSS) tournament. Four schools came to Westland High to compete.

On Wednesday (24th July) Westland High School competed in the WCSS Badminton tournament.  Greymouth High School, John Paul II High School, South Westland Area School and Buller High School all came to Westland High School to compete.

We had a young team who competed this year but the students performed well and are to be commended for their sportsmanship on the day. With the help of the Hokitika Badminton Club we can look forward to more success in the coming years.

Thank you to Adrienne Coleman who give up her time to come and run this very successful tournament.
