Westland District Library —

Registrations are now open.

Registration is now open for Term 2 of our Westland District Library Code Club starting 15th May.

Code club is a 6-week programme where children aged 8-14 can learn how to create computer games, and animations using Scratch.

Code club is held Wednesdays between 3.30pm-4.30pm during the school term. To register for code club click HERE

Parents, please note this is beginners coding and if your child has attended in the past this will be a repeat.

The Library is delighted to be working with West Coast Tech Space to offer a Maker Club for Term 2.

Maker Club is a hands-on course for 10 to 13 year olds, teaching students design, creative thinking and making skills, using various materials and tools. Topics covered will include electronics, 3D modeling, 3D printing and making skills.

Maker Club will run each Thursday between 3.30 and 5.00pm from May 9th 2019 and will cost $30 per child.
