The Gateway students have many opportunities to site courses that will help towards work placements within the local trades industry and potentially leading to apprenticeships.

This term 11 of the Gateway students participated in a Height Safety course. The course was worth 7 Level 3 credits and covered work safety practices at heights and also how to use a harness system safely when working at heights. These are very valuable skills to have as an electrician, builder, scaffolder, retailer etc....
