A few of our students recently received Duke of Edinburgh awards Youth awards. We are very proud of these students who have committed a lot of time and effort to deservedly receive these Awards. 

• Ruby Harris (Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and Level 2 On Track Leadership Award)
• Leila Nolan (Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and Level 2 On Track Leadership Award)
• Indee Stuart Maynard (Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and Level 2 On Track Leadership Award)
• Suellen Powell (Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - she already completed her Level 2 On Track Leadership Award last year)

Justin Blacklock & Silvia Castillo PInto (Search the Way Director/Coordinators) also say 'a big thank you to all the wonderful staff at Westland High for their support and encouragement to help these students to receive this recognition for their achievements.'

Justin and Silvia put a tremendous amount of time into our students working towards these awards and we are very thankful for their dedication. We can see the personal growth and confidence that the students develop during their time within the programme.
