The organisers of this years Te Ahurei o nga Kura o Te Tai Poutini (West Coast Kapa Haka festival), have made the decision to cancel this years festival.

This year has been a challenging year for many organisations and schools have been one of the many that have faced hurdles regarding schedules and events. So it is understandable that the Te Hui Ahurei o Nga Kura o Te Tai Poutini 2020 organisers made the decision to cancel this years Kapa Haka Festival. 

Whilst it is regretful we do hope that at some time through the remainder of the year we will be able to organise a viewing of the Westland High School students performing. This will depend upon availability of performers and their varied schedules.
